BELEN, N.M. (KRQE) - A Belen High School student has been suspended indefinitely after a threatening message was found written on a restroom mirror at the school.
According to Belen Public Schools, the message warned that a student would bring a gun to school Tuesday and start shooting.
The student was identified.
His home was searched and the threat appears to be false.
Still extra security will be at the school Tuesday.
A recorded message went out to parents Monday afternoon.
