ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Bernalillo County commissioners unanimously approved an ordinance this week allowing sheriff's deputies to seize the vehicles of repeat drunk drivers.

The law takes effect October 25th. It will affect those previously convicted of DWI, driving on a revoked or suspended license because of DWI.

A similar law is already in effect in Albuquerque.
