LAS CRUCES (KRQE) - New Mexico State University’s Tyrone Watson wants to be back on the basketball team after being charged with aggravated battery.
Watson is appealing his suspension from the team.
Las Cruces police say the 22-year old beat a 19-year-old man at a party last month, causing facial fractures and a gash requiring 13-stitches.
Watson will either be fully reinstated, conditionally reinstated, or the suspension will be upheld.
