ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The investigation continues into the latest shooting involving the Albuquerque Police Department.
Suspect Parrish Dennison, 41, was killed Tuesday night near Louisiana and Menaul after he ran from police.
Police say Dennison had a gun as he ran from police after one of his alleged accomplices tried to sell some stolen items to a local music store.
Police also says Dennison was a white supremacist involved in gang activity.
KRQE News 13 obtained pictures from the New Mexico Corrections Department showing what Dennison looked like while doing time in prison.
He had plenty of tattoos showing swastikas and hooded KKK members.
Police are still looking for another man who sped from the scene in a black pickup truck.
The woman who seemed to be working with the men and actually went into the Music-Go-Round store on the 7100 block of Menaul Boulevard NE with stolen goods is in police custody. But they say she is not being cooperative.
Police say the woman says she met Dennison and the other man at a casino, but she has not helped police identify that third suspect.
“In this case, because there are a lot of officers, we have a lot of evidence we have to collect,” APD Chief Ray Schultz said. “We have been in contact with businesses to see if there is any additional surveillance video of the incident as it unfolded."
Schultz said someone had left an ID at the music store sometime before the shooting took place, but they are not sure if it belongs to that unidentified suspect yet.
The three officers involved in the shooting are on paid leave during the investigation.
