Agents find four hidden in truck

LAS CRUCES (KRQE) - A routine inspection on Interstate 25 led to the arrest of someone trying to smuggle four illegal immigrants into the country, according to the U.S. Border Patrol.

Las Cruces agents said a man in a pickup truck was acting unusual and giving conflicting information at a checkpoint.

While searching the vehicle, agents discovered two hidden females in the back seat and two more females in a compartment underneath the truck.

According to the agents, the two hidden under the truck suffered burns, scratches and injuries stemming from exposure to carbon monoxide.
