LAS CRUCES (KRQE) - One of New Mexico's newest deputies is probably someone you recognize.
The Las Cruces Sun-News reports actor Steven Seagal was sworn in as a Doña Ana county deputy on Tuesday.
He's considered a reserve officer and can only work with a commissioned peace officer.
Seagal is filming "Force of Execution" in Albuquerque right now.
He actually starred in a reality series called "Lawman" one time where he worked as a fully-commissioned deputy in Louisiana.
