Accused woman tries to poison dog

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Bernalillo County sheriff's deputies say an Albuquerque man’s ex-girlfriend tried to give his dog rat poison disguised as a treat.
Police say a surveillance video shows how his ex-girlfriend, Vickie Black, tried to do it.
They say her boyfriend broke up with her and never imagined she would try to kill the dog she gave him.
Police say fortunately the pit bull-lab mix was never able to reach the tainted treat.
Black is charged with extreme animal cruelty.
