SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - Police say a Santa Fe man who thought he was buying cocaine but ended up getting soap powder drove his pickup head-on into a car in an attempt to scare the seller into giving his money back.
Authorities tell the Santa Fe New Mexican that 53-year-old Robert Trujillo began yelling that he wanted his money back after making the buy Thursday and drove around the house where he made the purchase.
Police say a woman whom Trujillo recognized from a prior fake drug sale leaving the house in a Chevrolet Cavalier, which Trujillo later drove into.
Trujillo and the five women inside the Cavalier were treated for minor injuries.
Police say Trujillo claimed to have unintentionally struck the car.
