ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The man police believe killed two brothers during a drug deal will stay in jail on $1.5 million cash or surety bond.

Justin Johnson pleaded not guilty before Judge Bob Schwartz in district court Tuesday morning.

A third victim survived. Michelle Valero was shot five times and identified Johnson as the shooter.

Johnson, also known as "Texas," was arrested in Texarkana on May 27, 2010, one month after the shootings at a home in Albuquerque.

Johnson is expected back in court next Friday in another case where he has charged with first-degree kidnapping.
