ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque man accused of impersonating an officer was in front of a judge Wednesday morning.
Skyler Smith, 29, had his first appearance in court Wednesday.
Investigators say a woman called 911 Tuesday saying a man in a brown Chevy pickup was weaving in and out of traffic.
She told deputies smith pulled up next to her, rolled down his window and started screaming at her, claiming that he was an Albuquerque police officer and that if she didn't pull over he would shoot her.
Deputies tracked Smith down and arrested him.
