LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (KRQE) - The 67th anniversary of the first atomic bomb attack prompted arrests at Los Alamos National Labs Monday.
The first blast at Hiroshima destroyed the city and killed as many as 140,000 people.
That blast and a second blast at Nagasaki prompted Japan to surrender during World War II.
Monday, six protesters were arrested in Los Alamos after they blocked morning traffic near the entrance of LANL.
