20-year federal sentence awaits gunman

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A convicted armed robber now faces 20 years in federal prison after admitting a two-week crime spree in Albuquerque last year.
Oscar Marquez, 22, pleaded guilty to two armed robberies of wireless-phone in late May and early June. He fired shots during two of those holdups, but no one was hit.
He was initially charged with two other robberies, all under federal statutes covering businesses involved in interstate commerce and using a firearm in a crime of violence.
Marquez entered his guilty pleas Friday in U.S. District in Albuquerque. He was arrested in June by Albuquerque police and has been in federal custody since October.
A date for his sentencing has not been set.
A co-defendant, Rebecca Aguilar, 25, has pleaded not guilty to aiding and abetting one of the robberies and is awaiting trial.
