EL PASO, TX (KRQE) - Two men accused of kidnapping a man from a basketball game in El Paso and forcing him to drive them to New Mexico have pleaded guilty.
Brandon Jones and Jesus Gallegos kidnapped Javier Vasquez outside the UTEP game in November of 2011, using an air pistol that looked like a gun.
Police say the men forced Vasquez to clear his bank account and then beat him and tied him up.
Vasquez escaped after Gallegos and Jones fell asleep in clines corners.
Both men each face a possible life sentence.
