ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Students and faculty at La Laz Elementary had to endure the cold weather Thursday morning after a fire breaks out.

Firefighters were called out to the northwest Albuquerque school just after 9 a.m. after a trash can caught fire in a boy's restroom.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire.

An evacuation was ordered, but everyone was allowed back in a short time later.
