Pedestrian hit by car near Uptown

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man is in critical condition after he was hit by a car near Uptown Shopping Center Thursday night.

Police say the man was crossing Louisiana Blvd, south of Uptown in a poorly lit area of the street when a he was hit by a Ford Mustang.

The man was rushed to the hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

At this time there is no word on whether the driver of the Mustang will face any charges.
