Mother and child hit by car

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A woman and her 3-year-old child are said to be OK after being hit by a car in northeast Albuquerque Tuesday morning.

Police say the woman and her child were walking near Nakomis and Constitution just after 8 a.m. Tuesday when a green Toyota Tercel hit them.

The two were transported to the hospital to be checked out, both were said to be OK.

There is no information available on whether any charges will be filed against the driver.
