ALBUQUERQUE (AP) - Gov. Susana Martinez is scheduled this week to attend a Republican Governors Association meeting in Utah.

And it just so happens that No. 3 seed New Mexico will face No. 14 seed Harvard on Thursday in Salt Lake City in the Lobos' first game of the NCAA tournament.

Enrique Knell, a spokesman for Martinez, said the governor will attend the Lobos game and will be in town for the second game Saturday to watch New Mexico face "whichever team has the misfortune to play them next."

Knell says Martinez also is rooting for No. 13 New Mexico State in their game against No. 4 seed Saint Louis in San Jose, Calif.

Martinez and her husband Chuck watched the Lobos and Aggies play in their conference tournaments in Las Vegas.
