Gov: Learn a winter sport

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Governor Susana Martinez has declared January as “Learn a Winter Sport Month.”

The Governor says she wants New Mexicans to take advantage of the state’s ski areas and a lot of other winter fun activities.

Her office says the ski industry pumps nearly half a billion dollars into the states economy every year.
