Dishwasher fire prompts evacuations

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Guests at a Downtown Albuquerque hotel got quite the scare early Monday morning after a fire broke out in the hotel’s kitchen.
Around 1:30 a.m. The Hyatt Hotel was evacuated after a fire broke out in a dishwasher in the kitchen area.
Luckily the sprinkler system quickly kicked in and the fire was contained to that one area.
No one was hurt and the damage is limited.
