ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A crash involving two cars is causing traffic problems near I-40.

Albuquerque police say a truck and a car collided on the Frontage Road and 2nd Street in Northwest around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

The driver in the car was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt. Cops say one of the vehicles ran a red light but would not say which one.

Officers say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

Second street northbound at I-40 is closed while the investigation continues.
