ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - New Mexico enforcement agencies have been asked to look out for a 2-year-old girl missing out of the West Texas area.
According to KLBK Leah Marie Aguirre, who just turned two January 8th, has been missing since January 3rd.
The girl was last seen with a man named Miguel driving a Red Ford Focus. According to reports the man entered the child’s home in Crosbyton, Texas claiming to be a case worker from Child Protective Services and removed the child from the home.
Officials have confirmed that this man was not in fact an employee of CPS.
KLBK says Crosby County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating whether the child’s mother was trying to sell the girl to someone in Mexico.
