Winter storm portends flight hassles

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - If you're flying out of Albuquerque Thursday, the latest winter storm rumbling across the country may cause problems if you're heading east.
Albuquerque Sunport officials said flights delays they're seeing are not necessarily connected to the bad weather. But if you're flying east, you may experience delays or cancellations on connecting flights, so call ahead.

And here's a heads if you're flying out of the Sunport over the next five months. The long-term parking lot next to the garage and terminal is now closed.
Crews are repaving the lot and adding solar panels.
In the meantime you can park in the long-term credit- and debit-card lot located off of Girard SE. That costs $7 a day.
