CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) - Talks are underway to try to save a cosmetics plant in Clovis.
Beauty Health and Science Innovations of California agreed to move into the facility by May 1st.
The city even gave them $1.8 million to help renovate the facility, but they never came.
While the city is still considering foreclosure on the property to get their money back. City officials say they are also in talks with an Australian company to possibly move into the space and pay off the city debt in the process.
Officials say those talks are still ongoing and nothing is final.
