State Fair two-fer admissions on Friday

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Bring a friend, New Mexico State Fair officials said in announcing two-for-one gates admissions on Friday.

That means two people can get onto the fairgrounds for the single admission price of $7. And no, it does not mean anyone coming alone can get for half price.

The deal does extend to even-numbered groups like two adults and two children getting in for $12--$7 plus $5--when the usual price would be $24.

The fair, which began Sept. 10, runs through Sunday and closes that evening with the fireworks show originally planned for Wednesday until torrential rains closed the fair for the day at 3:30 p.m.
