ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) - In case you didn't suspect something like this already, TripAdvisor has ranked Roswell No. 4 on the list of spookiest places in the country.

Just in time for Halloween, too.

The online travel site cites the city's UFO history and the countless rumors and conspiracy theories involving space aliens and the Roswell Incident of 1947.

Topping the spooky list was Salem, Mass., famous for the witch trials of 1692.

Tombstone, Ariz., scene of the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, is also on it. It's considered to be one of the most haunted towns of the Old West.

And Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., is on there too. It is the setting of Washington Irvin's tale The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
