Parade, shoppers close Central Saturday

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - For the first time the Twinkle Light Parade and the Nob Hill Holiday Shop and Stroll are being combined into one big event on Saturday.
This all starts at noon, which is when Central Avenue will be shut down between Girard and San Mateo boulevards until midnight.
A lot of stores will have day-long sales.
The Twinkle Light Parade--an Albuquerque favorite--starts at 5:15 p.m. traveling Central west from Washington Street to Girard.
The street closures also will affect ABQ Ride bus routes on Central Avenue. Details on the route changes are on the ABQ Ride website .
