BERNALILLO, N.M. (KRQE) - Many took advantage of the long holiday weekend and headed out to the New Mexico Wine Festival.
The 23rd annual wine festival in Bernalillo started Saturday and will run until Monday. Music, arts and crafts, food and tons of local wine are at the event.
More than 20,000 are expected to attend the biggest and longest running wine festival in the state.
"We're on a girls' getaway with my sister and our best friend just to get away from the stress of the guys and drink some wine," festival visitor Jennifer Riley said.
