ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The latest American Girl doll is from Albuquerque.
On Tuesday the company introduced Saige Copeland.
She's described as a fourth-grader who lives in Albuquerque and loves painting and horses.
The Saige doll will come with a horse, a hot-air balloon and two books. All of this will cost $110.
As part of introducing the Saige character, American Girl will also hold an arts contest for girls, a school grant contest for elementary art teachers, and a series of art activities developed with Americans for the Arts, a national nonprofit organization.
