CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) - Carlsbad man is in a coma at a Lubbock hospital following an oil rig accident.

Terry Don Dossey was working on the rig off New Mexico 128 late last week when a high pressure line broke and the force knocked him 10 feet away.

Family members told the Carlsbad Current-Argus that Dossey, 25, has had several strokes and swelling of the brain since the accident, and a ventilator is helping him breathe.
