ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The parent company of Hollywood Video is closing all but one of its Albuquerque-area stores after filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Movie Gallery Inc. is shutting five Hollywood Video stores in Albuquerque and one in Rio Rancho, leaving just the store at Central Avenue and Girard Bouelvard near the University of New Mexico.
It's not clear yet when the stores will shut down.
The company's Santa Fe store will remain open, as will the Movie Gallery-branded stores around the state.
