CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) - Great Lakes Airlines passengers flying to and from Clovis may be making their connections through Denver instead of Albuquerque.

The Clovis Civil Aviation Board has recommended current flights using the Albuquerque Sunport instead connect to Denver International Airport with an intermediate stop in Santa Fe.

The Clovis City Commission it scheduled to take up the question when it meets on Thursday.

The average roundtrip fare on the federally subsidized service would be $145.
