ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The city investigator suspected of selling counterfeit sports jerseys out of his car has resigned.

KRQE News 13 investigative reporter Kim Holland exposed Trey Flynt's alleged activities last month.

He worked for the city of Albuquerque's Independent Review Office looking into complaints against police officers.

Investigators suspect he was selling counterfeit jerseys on city time.

The city was also looking into a website he created that makes cracks about religion, domestic violence and child abuse.

Flynt is still under investigation by the feds.
