ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - One extraordinary Albuquerque resident was in the national spotlight Friday night.
Tim Harris of "Tim's Place" was featured on the CBS Evening News in a story reported by Steve Hartman.
Tim Harris, 26, and runs his own restaurant near Wyoming and academy.
He also has Down syndrome and may be the only person in the country with that disability who operates his own place.
Tim also has lots of support from his parents, and in the CBS report had kind words for his dad just in time for Father's Day.
"He's the world's coolest dad that I can ever have here," he said.
Tim was also featured in the May 21 issue of People Magazine, on CNN earlier in the year and in a KRQE News 13 New Mexico Works segment reported by Jessica Garate.
