ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Another meeting will be held Tuesday evening between Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta vendors and the new company hired to oversee them.
Vendors say the company, Ovations, wants to take a huge chunk out their profits. But the Fiesta says it's really about safety because too many vendors violate the health code.
Ovations wants 30 percent of everything the vendors make, and the vendors say that will put many of them out of business.
The two were supposed to have a new contract by the close of business Monday, but they're agreed to continue their negotiations.
