ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The FDIC has finished bidding on the unfinished Anasazi high rise in downtown Albuquerque
The building has been sitting vacant for years after the developer was charged with money laundering and fraud.
It became a haven for thieves and squatters. The mayor threatened to tear it down if they could not find someone to finish it.
The FDIC hopes to award a bid next month.
