ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - On Monday it will be three years since Albuquerque was rocked by five murders in a single day.
John Hyde, a mentally ill man, is accused of the killings and is currently in a mental hospital in Las Vegas, N.M.
Friday, a memorial wreath was placed at the corner of Ash and Gold in Southeast Albuquerque to honor the two police officers who were killed.
Also killed that day were state transportation worker Ben Lopez, 17-year-old David Fisher and 26-year-old Garret Iverson.
Fisher and Iverson were shot to death inside a bike shop where they worked.
