ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The State Health Department has confirmed that 80 cases of lettuce possibly contaminated with E-Coli were shipped to New Mexico Walmart stores.
The lettuce is from the California Company, Tanimura and Antle. It is single head romaine that is individually wrapped and labeled.
The Health Department says 80 cases of the product were sent to Walmart distribution center in Los Lunas and then shipped to 72 Walmart stores throughout New Mexico, West Texas and Southern Colorado.
Customers who purchased the product are asked to check for a best-by date of August 19th and if it matches, dispose of it.
