Group collects items for wounded warriors

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - New Mexico Legion riders are on their way to help soldiers recovering from injuries.

Monday morning, riders loaded up trucks with personal care items, collected as part of operation wounded warrior.

They are all headed to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Last month, KRQE viewers helped raise nearly $14,000 for the operation.
