Community says farewell to NM soldiers

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A group of soldiers from New Mexico are off to Afghanistan.
The second engineer battalion of White Sands Missile Range was deployed Monday morning.
There was a ceremony at second engineer battalion parade field where family, friends and well-wishers all got to say goodbye.
No word on how long the troops will be gone.
