Furlough notices delayed at Kirtland

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Furlough notices at Kirtland Air Force base have been delayed.
Base officials had said that about 2,100 civilian employees would start getting notices Thursday and Friday.
It all changed Thursday when the Defense Department announced a two week delay.
This will allow the department to carefully look at the impact of the budget legislation pending in congress.
