ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The Fiesta de Santa Fe is approaching and officials are warning that the festivities will cause intersections to close.
Pedestrians and traffic will be controlled by the Santa Fe police. Officers will post detour signs around the Paseo del Peralta intersections of Old Taos Highway and Washington Avenue/Bishops Lodge Road. Roads will be closed starting at 6 p.m.
After the roads are closed, NO motor vehicles will be allowed north of Paseo de Peralta or South of Murales Road on either Old Taos Highway or Bishops Lodge Road. Rosario Street between Griffin and Old Taos Highway will also be closed to motor vehicles.
