Thrifty Thursday at State Fair

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Based on the previous success of 2009 State Fair discount days, the Fair will again offer a special one-day pass that includes gate admission and all the Midway Carnival Rides one can ride for just $10.

The Special Thrifty Thursday Ride Pass will be available at all New Mexico State Fair Ticket Office locations starting Thursday, September 24 at 10 a.m. The Midway will open at 11 a.m. and run through midnight.

“Ten bucks gets you in the door and on the rides as often as it’s physically possible for you to climb into the seat and secure the safety bar for the entire day,” said State Fair General Manager Craig Swagerty.

Mega Ride passes, which include gate admission every day of the Fair and all the rides one can ride any day, all day, can also be purchased for $50 at specially marked Mega Ride Pass booths on the Midway, at www.Ticketmaster.com, and at any Smith’s Food & Drug location.
