Local farmers help food bank

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - New Mexico farmers are doing their part on Friday to help feed the hungry.

A big truck was unloaded at the Road Runner Food Bank in Albuquerque filled with donated produce from local farmers. Everything from apples to chiles will go to people who need it the most.

New Mexico has six food banks that help collect the donated food.
