Gas balloons race to victory

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Saturday’s fiesta events ended with the launch of eight gas balloons, all trying to see who can travel the longest distance from Albuquerque.

The balloons are a part of the "America’s Challenge Gas Balloon Race".

Last year's winners traveled almost 1,400 miles from Albuquerque landing just outside of Detroit, Michigan.
