ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Earth day is being celebrated around the nation and right here in New Mexico.
Most major New Mexico communities have events played and in Albuquerque, Bosque School, an educational and research partner of the Bosque Ecosystem Monitoring Program (BEMP) is hosting Albuquerque Public School kindergarten and first grade students.
The younger kids are learning about plans to reintroduce the River Otter to New Mexico, as well has how to keep rivers healthy for all wildlife.
