ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Get the latest local news as soon as you go online - automatically and all day long.  Make KRQE.com your homepage – or make krqe.com one of the multiple websites you can set as your homepage in your favorite browser’s ‘tabs’.

Internet Explorer - Set homepage

  1. Open Internet Explorer and go to KRQE.com
  2. Select ‘Tools’ from the browsers menu bar
  3. Select ‘Internet Options’
  4. Under the ‘General’ tab, under Home page, click ‘Use current’, click ‘OK’

IE Multi-tabs: Open multiple ‘tabs’, each with their own homepage, when using Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Either click Ctrl+T on your keyboard or goto File > New Tab
  3. In each tab, enter the website URL you want that tab to go to when you start IE
  4. Select ‘Tools’ from the browsers menu bar
  5. Select ‘Internet Options’
  6. Under the ‘General’ tab, under Home page, click ‘Use current’, click ‘OK’

Firefox Browser - Set homepage

  1. Open Firefox and go to KRQE.com
  2. Select ‘Tools’ from the browsers menu bar
  3. Select ‘Options’
  4. Under the ‘General’ tab, under Startup, click ‘Use Current Pages’, click ‘OK’

Firefox Multi-tabs: Open multiple ‘tabs’, each with their own homepage, when using Firefox

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Either click Ctrl+T on your keyboard or goto File > New Tab
  3. In each tab, enter the website URL you want that tab to go to when you start Firefox
  4. Chick the tool icon from the browsers menu bar
  5. Select ‘Options’

  1. Open Chrome and go to KRQE.com
  2. Click the ‘Tools’ icon from the browsers menu bar
  3. Select ‘Settings’
  4. In ‘Settings’ under ‘On starup’, select the ‘Open a specific page or set of pages.’ and click ‘Set pages’
  5. Click ‘Use current pages’, click ‘OK’

Chrome Multi-tabs: Open multiple ‘tabs’, each with their own homepage, when using Chrome

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Either click Ctrl+T on your keyboard or click the new tab icon at the top of the browser window.
  3. In each tab, enter the website URL you want that tab to go to when you start Chrome
  4. Chick the tool icon from the browsers menu bar
  5. Select ‘Options’
  6. Under the ‘General’ tab, under Startup, click ‘Use Current Pages’, click ‘OK’

Safari Browser - Set homepage

  1. Open Safari and go to KRQE.com
  2. Select ‘Preferences…’ from the Safari menu
  3. Select ‘General’, under ‘Homepage’, click ‘Set to Current Page’ and close

Safari Multi-tabs: Open multiple ‘tabs’, each with their own homepage, when using Safari

  1. Open Safari
  2. Create a folder in bookmarks with bookmarks of all the pages you want to open when you start Safari
  3. Go to Safari ‘Preferences’, delete the link in the ‘Homepage’ field
  4. Next to ‘New windows open with:’ select “Choose tabs folder…”
  5. Select the folder that you created in step two
