ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - New Mexico’s most famous food is getting national attention for it's flavor.
      
An online Huffington Post article boasts about the taste of Hatch green chile and how it's great on everything from salsa and soup to main dishes and even side dishes.
        
It also plugs that hatch green is now available at stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s.
        
The article goes on to talk about the enormous pride New Mexicans have in green chile and how addicting it can be.
        
There are also some favorite restaurant green chile recipes, including green chile potato gratin, green chile macaroni and cheese and green chile mashed potatoes.
