ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Sunday was the annual kick-off for the Toys for Tots campaign.
Hundreds of motorcycle riders gathered Saturday near Lomas and Eubank for the 7th annual Motorcycle run.
They rode all the way to the thunder-bird Harley Davidson.
Riders, families and friends all brought money and unwrapped gifts to donate to the Toys for Tots program, to ensure that every family in the community will be able to give their children holiday gifts.
”we all amass to do this to support the people in the community that need our help,” Paul Caputo, who sponsors the Marine Corp Motorcycle Run, said.
Last year, officials say they donated over 20,000 toys.
People can donate from now until mid to late December.
