ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Things got a little spooky at the Rio Grande Zoo this weekend.
Little ghouls and goblins spooked the 24th Annual Zoo Boo in costumes, getting a chance to trick-or-treat and play games.
There was a costume contest, a screaming contest and haunted habitats.
It's the busiest day of the year for the zoo with 19,000 people maximum, all with a reason for being there.
”It’s because I like to play games and I like to wear my costume,” Christina Garcia said.
If you missed out, the zoo is also offering a Creping, Crawling and Carnivorous show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through November 4th.
