ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Guests treated their taste buds to the 20th Annual Souper Bowl in Albuquerque Saturday and the results are in.
It's Albuquerque’s Bien Shur that ran away with the Souper Bowl Tittle.
More than 1,400 people sampled soups from 45 restaurants across the city.
In the end it was Bien Shur's white chocolate bisque that won the top spot.
The Souper Bowl raised $60,000 for the Road Runner Food Bank and it will help feed needy families across the state.
“We are distributing about three truck loads of food every day across nm to feed hungry people,” Melody Wattenbarger said.
Santa Fe also hosted a Souper Bowl of its own.
There it was Jambo Cafe's spiced coconut cream guava-lime soup that ran away with the top prize.
